According to the Hynes manual, the MAP sensor for a 92 Camry 4 cyl is tested as follows:

1) First check for 5v reference from connector. Passed.
2) Apply vacuum and the black/white wire should show a steady drop as the vacuum goes up. Failed

So I ordered a used one from a wrecking yard and it also fails step 2. Is it possible that thew new (used) one I got is also bad or is the test not accurate? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
