Carried out an Oil Change, oil filter and fuel filter changed also and while i was at it did the EGR clean as well.

Nothing has been changed or modified apart from the above items,so the above light is on now ?any ideas as to why this has happened, the car its self isn't showing any downturn in performance at all in fact it's running like a dream...?very strange..anybody.?

can you not plug it in?

I don't have a code reader unfortunately as yet but might be investing in one soon if this damn light decides to stay on

Remove your negative Battery terminal for an hour the connect again.

It will reset the ECU and hopefully the light will go out...

reading the fault code aside. You might have triggered a fault code when you unplugged something (some sensor while the power was still being provided to the ecu).

How did you get on exvec?

Forgot to add that since you have put everything back, these light dont go out by themselves, these codes have to be erased from the ecu. I learnt my lesson while checking my spark plug coils, I simply unplugged all of them and BANG BANG BANG BANG FOUR FAULT CODES sent me into massive panic mode only when I read them, I realised what I had done. hahahahaha... Erased them all, light never came back on. DUN DUN DUN DUN...

Well plugged the OBD2 code reader in and its coming up with P2227.. Oxygen Sensor (A/F) Signal Stuck Rich (Bank 2 Sensor 1) ??Does anyone have an inkling as to what this may be,as i said earlier there's no deterioration in performance at all with the vehicle.

Mass Air Flow problem it seems...?

Looks like it could be a vacuum leak, as this seems to be triggered based on the ratio of Air Mass through the idle control valves vs. the total air mass intake...

P2227 = Barometric pressure circuit range performance.

This detects the atmospheric pressure with the atmospheric pressure sensor and corrects the injection timing, volume and common rail pressure to allow optimum combustion.

Check all your vacuum hoses for fit, leaks and correct routing ensuring all vacuum sensors /switched are correctly connected, if these are correct Toyota's diag is pretty simple fit a new Engine ECU.

?Would this have any bearing on the situation at all chaps.....i have recently fitted a Synergy Tuning Box which is plugged into the Maf sensor, but that has been running for a couple of months with no adverse effects previously...maybe this has thrown it out of sync.
