Green Led Near Mirror Control - T2 2003

Hi there,

I'm new to the forum and also new to Toyota ownership!

I have an Avensis T2 1.8 2003/4 model. Next to the wing mirror adjustment control panel I have a green LED which flashes occasionally when signalling. It only flashes once each time I click the indicator stick left or right and only occasionally, not every time.

Does anyone know what this is?

Its a warning light for the indicators on a trailer, you either have/had a Toyota towbar fitted

Thanks very much for the info, there isn't s towbar currently fitted, so it must have had one in the past.
