Not Yet Mr2 Owner

Hi Guys, After a good few years of MX5 ownership all sold know.I thought it was time to get back into softtop driving again and the MR2 looks a good bet at present, could anyone tell me of any pit falls of ownership ie

1 Any areas I should for corrosion.

2 Does the Mr2 have a timing belt and if so what are the change intervals.

3 Any Electrical/ignition problems I should be looking for.

4 Any know transmission faults noise/rumble etc.

5 Which is best soft or hard top don't mind either way.

Does the car come in 5 or 6 speed / lsd

How hard is it to get spares that is I mean do Toyoto charge through the nose

Your help would be most appriciated
