Forgive me for asking this question but my feet are feeling bad vibration through the pedals so could this be a sign that DMF is knackered or ball joints as I anticipate?

This topic was originally posted by me back in 2014 but I never changed the clutch/flywheel.  Car is still going well with no clutch slippage although my fifth gear often pops out on the motorway 😯

By their very nature they are more expensive to produce, customers would be peeved if the engine fell to pieces after 50K with a single flywheel. I think you underestimate the forces involved here

Unlikely, but possible. I would check things like tyres first, or something loose, or drive shaft joints, not likely to be ball joints
