Hi,

Was looking for a "paddock basher" for use on a rural property out in the sticks of New South Wales, Australia and discovered a friend who had sold his nearby property was wondering what to do with a derelict 1988 twin cab Hilux 2WD which was gathering dust and spiders in a shed.

I had it towed over and after some basic TLC it is running and has been taken for a short drive.

My previous Toyota history is a 1993 Corolla I bought in 2007 at 200,000 km and sold in 2012 at 320,000 km, nearly all highway driving, it didn't miss a beat. The people I sold it to smashed it soon after and it became scrap metal.
