Just to say hello to everyone,

I've just acquired a 2.0 gt cabriolet (accident damaged) to go with a 1.8 st I already own and my partner has a gt4.

In need of passenger wing and rear shock so I will be trawling the site for spares and will upload pics before any work starts and as work is in progress and as soon as finished

Hi av3nis,

Sorry it's taken a while to answer you, the reason I bought an accident damaged car was because I'd been looking for a cabriolet for 5 years and couldn't find what I wanted and the opportunity came up with this one so I took it, in the end all it needed was a passenger wing, front bumper and rear shock (where it was leaking) oh and a bit of bodywork (which I haven't don't yet but I will).

Can anyone assist me with a problem I have encountered please.

My rear drivers window was working ok but has now stopped in the down position :( not good with this rain ! I've tried another switch but it still won't go up, when I press the but 5 on to go up nothing but when I press it to go down it clicks very faintly, anyone got any ideas? I've tried bridging the wires but nothing, any help would be greatly received

Welcome Dawn - is there a relay switch for the up/down operation ?

Hi Uncle Buck,

Thanks for the welcome,

Yes there must be a relay switch somewhere I'm just not sure where ?

I've managed to get the window back up by crossing the wires (reversing the feed) so it's not so much of a pressing situation but obviously I'd like to get the situation resolved.

Any help from someone who has a manual or the knowledge of where to find the relay would be much appreciated.
