Steering Wheel Centre

Thought I'd start a new thread about this as i didn't want to hi-jack the Dash Removal (http://www.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/topic/148889-a-guide-to-removing-your-dash/) thread any further.

The following link explains why sometimes after getting your tracking adjusted your steering wheel is off center. The steering rack should always be centered and the tracking adjusted by setting the track rod ends on each side equally. If not, going to the extreme for an example, you could have one track rod end screwed all the way on and the other side right out on the outer limit of the thread. Like I said extreme and unlikely to happen, but hopefully makes the point.

Please see link below.
