Transmision Electronic Problems..pls Advice

Hi guys....im happy I got my first toyota surf 1991..2.4td.2 doors. Automatic very nice and outstanding vehicle. ..but I have a problem..it woz stuck in 4x4 mode.and the lights in the dashboard shows that. I bring it to yhe garage and they say they can not fixit coz they need a electric scheme of the transmission and they dont have it but they can take it out of 4x4 and I just driveit in 2 wheel drive can not engage in 4x4 hi or low...anybody have any ideas how I can fixed pls ....I can wait to go out in nature .so please. . help.. thanks to all.

I join in.... on this site coz i was thinking ..i can get some good advice from toyota surf owners or anybody whit some knowledge or a point of view..or a different opinion.. looks like .its not what i was thinking.but its ok ..il go to toyota garage .and il get a opinion from then,,, anyways ...yea no more talking.good day to all drivers 4x4.and all off u whatever u dive..be safe.

did you take it to a toyota dealer/service rep?? if not that would be my first port of call. good luck
