Ae92 Starter Motor Supplier?

Hi,

I am having trouble sourcing a new starter motor for my AE92 (4AGE engine), I have tried 4 different
starter motors now from the motor factors and none of them seem to fit (bolt holes don’t quite line up correctly)? Can you help?

Do you know what the part number of the starter motor I require is?

As the motor factor said they had one in stock I gave them the old one to get money off, they don’t have it any more to get back off them to get it reconditioned now (we live and learn).

Could someone have changed the gear box on my car before I got it, which could be why the starter motor specified doesn’t fit, are there different boxes for AE92s?

Any help appreciated so I can my car up running again…
