hi all just picked up a 92 hilux surf 2.4 manual with 99 thou on clock imported in 92.i travelled to durham to pick it up afterbuying it blind from classified on e bay,my gearbox on my work van(berlingo) has packed up so i fancied a change from the usual builders van and so drove this home.toyotas are new to me but ive owned other 4x4,s.for a 22 year old oil burner i cant believe everthing works as should apart from the ac(do you reckon it will re gas?)it drove back great and am well chuffed with it.its a testament to jap build quality its still going strong, wow.i need a foof rack but i dont think any will clip on as there isnt a roof lip for it to clip on ,am i correct in thinking this?i thought ofdrilling and bolting one right through roof ,ineed to carry ladders.i presume i will have no probs running on bio/derv mixture, love it,marko
