A Question About Toyota Iq Parts

I've seen the on line version of the Toyota iQ optional parts section, and have a couple of questions:

1) Where does the Homelink option fit? I have a Toyota iQ Japan "sunglasses locker" installed in the area of the headliner back from the rearview mirror, and am worried that it may occupy the same location.

2) The tailpipe extension is a simple bolt on arrangement, correct?

Thanks for your help. I now know that the Homelink unit would fit just fine. However, from the install pamphlet, it appears that the only areas for which there are "activation codes" are located in Continental Europe and the adjacent islands. Assuming that this unit is also common with Japanese built Japanese vehicles, it appears that it is not completely limited to the European continent.

DA (or anyone else), is there a way for this unit to be able to be activated for the North American market?
