Rav4 2006 Audio System Fails.

After a car Battery going flat, my audio system displays the following message:

"A program cannot be read. Please consult to a dealer."

And probably the same in Japanese.

Is there a way to reset my system and get it working again?

The model is B9004 computer navigation 86120-42240-EX.

Any help will be much appreciated.

Is the navigation disc in the radio? It needs to be when the radio boots up otherwise you get this error message, if the disc is installed it may be dirty make sure the disc is clean and if possible use a CD laser cleaning disc in the player as if the disc cannot be read the radio will never boot up.

Thanks for your reply. The Toyota Dealer in Cyprus told me that it has to read the navigation disk.

I removed the audio system and cleaned the laser but the result is the same.

Maybe the laser of the navigator does not read any more!
