Door Panel Repair

I have just bought a 2006 (new model) RAV4. There is a dent in the rear passenger door outer skin. I would like to remove the inner panel in order to inspect it. I loosened the clips round the panel bottom and sides then removed the phillips screw which secures the door pull, but cannot get any further. Does anyone know how what to do next?

There are other screws behind the door pull trim - the trim needs to be removed in order to access the screws - theres a total of 4 screws that retain the panel.

Thanks gjnorthall.

Do you mean the aluminium trim? If so I don`t know where to apply pressure to remove it without causing damage, Please advise.

I'm not sure if the trim just clips off or is attached with double sided tape. Perhaps someone knows for certain.

Thanks, the exploded diagram did the trick. The front of the door pull levers off from the bottom. Problem solved
