What Size Adapter Is Required For Rear Brake Pads?

I am going to replace the rear brake pads on my 2007 Auris Diesel 2 Litre. I have a brake rewind tool with a few adapters, does anyone know what size adapter is required for the Auris?

Have you checked to see if any of your adapters fit?

I hope what I said did not sound rude, but if I was in your position, I would try the tool to see what works. Beware that one side screws in anti-clockwise.

I also found some posts on the same subject:

Hope this helps.

The rewind tool that I have is the Sealey VS0211, which includes just a few adapters hope one of them fits the Auris.

I realise that one of the rear calliper pistons is left hand threaded, some forum threads say it's the nearside(UK) and some say it's the offside(UK), please could someone confirm which side is the anticlockwise side?
