Has anyone done serious 100k+ mileage. How did it go?

Would you buy another one, assuming the Aygo met your current needs (eg around town rather than motorways)

I did like my Aygo but wouldn't buy another as it had too many limitations for me. The ride comfort probably being the biggest issue I had. You don't realise how bad the limitations are until you get another car.

Have 153000 km on my Aygo which is about 95000 miles and the only issue I have is oil consumption, which is about 1L every 8000km so not a big deal. Just got my NCT(the Irish MOT) yesterday, it went through without any fails or advisories. Car has always been serviced by Toyota which I think helps.

The handling on standard suspension is a bit cr*p so I fitted a set of Eibach lowering springs, which improved the roadholding with no loss in comfort.

Would I buy another one? Well, I'd try the new Aygo and see, but probably would get a bigger car next time for comfort.

I've currently passed the 145k mile mark on my aygo, maybe looking at a change next year, I wouldn't rule out another aygo, but I'm not sentimental on brands/models so will be casing the net open to what's out there (saw the new C1 last week - nice). Top 3 things I look for in order are reliability, running costs (maintainance/insurance/mpg), purchase price. Doing mostly motorway driving I probable should be including comfort, but my thinking is I can cope with a hours drive at a time in it no problem, also the noise has probable given be mild tinnitus :)

Only problem I have at the moment is with the number of miles now on engine it likes it's oil, currently taking 1 litre every 500 miles which it a weekly topup for me
