Touch And Go ( & 2)

I just bought a Yaris Icon which comes with a Touch & Go 2 Media system.

I have now successfully managed to figure out the bluetooth connection and streaming feature for streaming media from our iPhone and Samsung Phone devices.

We are currently trying to figure out the SATNAV.

Prior to getting the Yaris Icon, we got a Garmin satnav with lifetime UK and Europe Maps. When we are done with the SATNAV we pretty much turn it off. Sometimes we turn on the Garmin when we are lost, but when we know where we are, it is easy enough to stop the SATNAV and turn it off.

We need to figure out how to turn off the Touch and Go SATNAV when we no longer require it. Does the device have a "Stop navigation" feature or a simple "Turn off" feature when you no longer wish to use it?

When I know an area I do not turn on my SATNAV. I hardly ever use it when going shopping or to work etc. We only use it really for long journeys, or now, as an exercise to get to know it and figure out how it works. But I would like to ask the forum:

1) How do you turn off the SATNAV when you do not use it.

2) How to stop navigation once you no longer have need for it during a trip?

Thank you for your help.

If no destination is set in the navigation then just press the music symbol to return to the audio screen.

If a destination is set press the nav button then "suspend guidance" to shut the nav up then repeat the above to leave the nav screen.
