Hi

I have recently bought an import from Japan of the Toyota Granvia 1996 N reg.

Beautiful car however on the recent MOT it displays an advisory of a minor leak of exhaust gases and it is element as the engine has 2 dark sooty like buildups.

Does anyone know if this is an expensive job to repair at all as I'm hoping that i haven't ben duped on this one?

find the hole, some sanding paper to remove rust and dirt, use epoxy putty to seal it. it is not forever but it will be good enough.

anyway, even fixing it professionally should not be expensive.
