D4D 100Kw Turns Off When Not In A Gear And Idles At Normal Rpms!

Hi. I am new in this forum. I own the 2008 Corolla Verso
2.2 D-4D 100kw. Recently the engine has started to turn off when not in a gear and idles
at normal RPMs (800). Before that happens the engine shakes a bit and just
turns off.. When trying to turn in on again it only can be done after 4-6
tries... at the same time pushing the accelerator. The problem used to recur
every month or so. No it happens twice a day. First thought is the fuel pump,
suction control valve etc. All filters are brand new... The mechanic couldn't
find any error code by hooking up a computer... Please share if anyone has had a
similar failure. Thanks in advance!
