Hope your all well.

I'm setting up a firm in exeter and one of the I portent things I need to address is the first vehicle. I've decided a crew cab pick up is best, accompanied by a trailer when necessary.

The options are:

£6/7000 for a second had hilux, l200 or navara.

A new hilux, ranger or l200 on lease hire. (Probably l200 because of the price!)

For a second hand machine I am leaning towards a hilux just apon reputation alone really. We used to have a few on the farm when I was younger and you just had to fill them with fuel and they went and went till the doors were hanging off!

Looking at hilux's, what model should I go for?

It's got to be he newer shape than pre 95.

I've heard he 101bhp models are gutless and I've heard the 3.0's are very juicy. It's not going to do an awful lot of miles so mpg isn't overly important.

Any help would be great.

Thanks

£6 /7k ? go for a mk6 hilux...... early 2.5 - 102 bhp, then intercooled with 120bhp until around 2009 then 144bhp or go the whole hog and get the mk6 3.0 - 169 bhp

Or even better.... a brand new Hilux
