I also have an after market kit but decided not to go with the visual display which would need a lot more wirng and also somewhere to fix the actual display.

I just got the four sensors and beeper. Needs tyo be wired to the reversing lamp so that when reverse is engaged the sensors are activated. Should be able to tap into the wiring system in the rear area and keep everything hid in the boot well area and the beeper somewhere in the boot area.

You need to find the wires going to the reversing lamp. When you engae reverse the reversing lamps come on, thats when you wan the parking senors to activate as well.

You need to locate the lamp cluster with the reverse white light in it, then look for the wires going to that particlular white light bulb holder. Take a note of the colur(s) of the wire and see if you can locate it in a convinient place to join on the sensor wire.

Someone may well know where to get a wiring diagram which may show you the colours of the wires.

My Haynes shows Reversing light feed wire is coloured Red/White.

I used that - iirc- to wire my Meta reversing sensor - but that was years ago..
