T180 Sunroof Drainage

Hi all,

The sunroof drainage channels on my T180 Auris would appear to be blocked as the tray in the roof accumulates with water after it has been raining. I have cleared the channels as much as I possible by gently inserting a flexible pipe inside the drainage channels but it would seem the blockage is at the 'far' end of the channels.

I would like to find out where the drainage channel exits, i.e. where all the water runs out, so I can take the end off and get to the problem. Does anyone happen to know, or know where I could find out, the location of the drainage channel exits? I have tied searching all over online but unfortunately to no avail so far. Any help would be much appreciated - many thanks indeed!!

Usually with sunroofs, the drainage channels run down the A pillars and drain water somewhere around the front wheel arch area. Don't think they're usually that accessible. I've heard of people using a compressed airline from the sunroof opening to free any blockages - though not sure how effective this proves in practice
