T Sport Wont Stay In Lift

Hi guys just made an account to ask this question. I have an 04 t sport corolla and it will go into lift in every gear although it is completely impossible keeping it in lift from 1st to 2nd. The body has 105k and the engine 45k, the older engine was the vvti marked engine whilst this one is stamped vvtli. What could this problem be? Oil pressure? Incorrect cam timing? Edu not matching engine 100% due to swap? It's not that I just need to get used to it I've had the car 6 weeks and I have a very heavy foot, car stays in lift 2-6th no problem just 1st-2nd it drops down to 5800 rpm. Any help would be welcome
