Setting Date On Dashboard

avensis tourer 2012 . I inadvertently advanced the year on dash to 2015. while setting date . using the DISP button I can only advance date not reverse it.. so I am stuck at 2033 in the future !!! is there a way to correct to 2014 without advancing 10,000 years forward..

Try disconnecting the Battery for half an hour.

Hi Frostyballs, Thanks for your response. I'm a little cautious about doing this as the car is a taxi and therefore I have meter and radios etc hardwired into the system and am unsure as to whether disconnecting the Battery will cause any issues to this. Thanks!

Try advancing it and see if it goes back to 2000 after 2099?

If you are displaying the date past 2014, try using the TRIP button to roll the date backwards.

Hi Alan333. I have solved it... advance date to 2050. where upon it reverts to start at 2010. so not a long job.. cheers guys for your input
