Egr Cleaning 116Hp Corolla

Hi all 1st post, just purchased a Corolla 116hp d4d and as its not being taxed until the 1st i thought i would clean the egr valve. Reading on here there were some good posts but lacked a picture of the 116hp model so i thought i would post a few pictures.

Before i start i have found that Halfords online are selling Fuel filters and Air filters at £2.70 each, click and collect. A mistake i'm sure, so i filled my boots with them, be quick.

Job is quite easy, the two nuts at the top - no problem, refitting bottom bolt is a pain, especially if you have hands like a blacksmith with gloves on, then you may want to call on your mates Thai bride for assistance.

A few squirts of carb cleaner turned it from this

Yeah same here, Halfords parts database looks the same as www.eurocarparts.com

if you click on glow plug there are for £0.00 I have reserved 4, I'd be surprised I I get them.

got the filters no glow plugs have you got yours, all the parts supplied are from eurocarparts. big difference on euro the pollen is 11.02 on Halfords its 1.92.

Cabin filter is there awaiting call for plugs, dont have too much hope though.
