Hello, New to the forum, I am sent here by a French Toyota forum.

I live in Belgium and I bought a Toyota IQ there months.

I plugged my IQ a rearview camera bought on eBay no problem thanks to you. TNS510 model.

A colleague saw the result asked me to connect the same camera on his IQ with a TNS350.
I found the correct wiring but TNS350 said: Hayon open, do not use the rearview monitor. Yet I could see my picture a few seconds once, on a poorly understood ???

Does anyone have an idea or a wiring diagram for this radio see the wiring diagram of TNS350 or IQ?

I hope this message is understandable, I go through google translate to talk to you.

Thank you, merciii

hello,

Thank you for your interest.
I use a camera bought on eBay. This is the model with the special support. It is made for IQ and the RAV 4 and fits into the traffic lights license plate.
I used the same camera for my TNS 510 and everything worked well.

TNS350 on, when I pass the reverse gear, the screen goes black and text appears with a souvenir: "The tailgate is open, it is not possible to use the monitor." Before making my final connection, I still managed to see the back picture.

My connection is: Yellow wire camera on the red and white wire from the connector at the top left on TNS350 and black wire from the camera to the black wire of the same connector.

The power of the camera comes from the cigar lighter. The power of the traffic lights back is too slow for the image enters the TNS350.

Normally a 12v camera is supplied from the cigar lighter socket or on the back of it. The video signal goes on to the red wire on the back of the 350/510 and the screen is connected to either one of the 2 black wires. The white wire in the group of 4 wires 2x black 1 red and 1 white at the back of the 350/510 is only used with the original Toyota camera's as when reverse is selected 6v is on the white wire because the toyota camera works on 6v not 12

I think I do not have the same color codes. TNS510 on my IQ,

I could easily find the cables as described in the forum.
On TNS350 I do not recognize anything. I have a picture of my temporary connection that worked.

The colors do not match your description ???

Hi

Go Here ( http://www.toyota-tech.eu/Aim/Aim.aspx)

and put in the car model and choose rear camera in accessory and you will see Toyota's installation sheets It shows how to install the camera on a Tns 510 and a Tns 350 My car had a 510 in it and I changed it for a 350 and had to buy an adaptor to go into the 350 but my camera was still connected to the existing wiring so didn't bother to see what the colours converted to when the went into the 350

Thank you for the link.

I already downloaded the installation manual but I can not find the cables indicated. I think the TNS350 was mounted after buying the car that did not have the navigation system. You can see some cables that were added as the reverse switch. Perhaps, but how to find a missing cable? I think that without the wiring diagram of the car it becomes very difficult.

Thank you very much for your interest and your response.

If you buy an iQ that previously had a 510 fitted you have to buy a conversion cable to get the existing wiring to fit the 350. The adaptor has 2 plugs on it and 2 sockets and converts the cables originally going into the 510 to the 350. Now i had added my camera as in the installation diagram from that site. And when i bought the 350 all i had to do was buy the adaptor. The adaptor is shown on page one of the installation diagram. The other cable you mention is grey one with 3 wires on that detects reverse etc. when reverse is selected the green wire has 12v on it to tell the 510/350 to go into camera mode and is only fitted when a satnav is fitted
