Yaris Tns410 Dvd Player

Hi All,

I am after some help.

I am the proud owner of a 2011 Yaris T-Spirit Nav.

It has the TomTom TNS410 SatNav radio installed, and can work with the reversing camera, but I do not have it installed.

Reading through the manual, it says I can play DVD Video. However, when I try I only get the audio.

If I hold the volume button in for a few seconds, the screen flashes and displays the DVD video for a split second, and then goes blue.

I have tried several DVD's.

I am stationary when trying, with the hand brake on.

I have tried with both engine on and off.

Has anyone managed to get Video to play?

Am I doing something wrong?

Could the unit be faulty?

I got the same version of the Yaris last week with the same head unit. Will try the DVD functionality tonight and feed back.

Sorry for the late response. Yes I checked this out and it seemed to work fine. As its playing, if I move the car forward the screen cuts to blue and I can only hear the audio. I think its linked to the GPS as when I put it in gear and move just a few cm, the screen doesn't cut out. Its only when I move a few metres. Hope that helps.
