Reverse Gear Hard To Engage?

Hi

Im having this weird issue when trying to put in reverse.

The gear is "blocked" but when pressing the clutch and releasing it the gear engages???

All the other gears are fine and no grinding or vibration.

Is this normal for the 6 speed manual transmission?

Anyone with the same problem.

Avensis 1,8 2012 estate 22000 kms

Toyota should repair it for free as 2012 models came with a 5 year warranty.
