I just want to find out how to safely removed the chrome side sill and chrome bumper protection on an auris. Planning to place it on another auris.

I removed the chrome on the boot lid just by pulling gently... Also the wording Toyota, T-shirt D4D all came off OK.. No paint was harmed...

I just cleaned off any residue of double sided tape with IPA (Alcohol)......

I did leave the door sill kick plates on, as these are added protection climbing in and out of car plus they are not seen while door is closed......
