Next question:

I've owned the Yaris for around a month and am now noticing a distinct 'raspberry' on start up. I quite like the exhaust note, being noticeably louder than previous and other cars (although nowhere near my Vitesse with a straight through).

Is this typical for a 1.3 petrol,14 reg?

I know what you mean , my 12 Reg Mk3 SR has quite an aggressive exhaust note on start up and also when you get the RPM to over 3K.

I have the Chrome Tip Exhaust as well on my one which changes the note slightly as well.
