Hi,

I have a 2008 Yaris 1.3 SR that makes a loud sqeeling noise when cold that varies with the engine revs - suspect that it is the aux belt making the noise , is there any way of proving this? Also it looks like you have to remove an engine mount ? Is this done from underneath the car? And also I cannot find a routing diagram (with A/C) that looks like the right one.

Try squirting or dripping a little water onto the belt and see if that affects the noise, water won't do any harm.
