Turbo Setting For Max Mileage?

Hi Guys,

I have a '91 Hilux surf, with a 3.0L diesel in it. I was wondering if you guys have heard anything about pressure settings for the turbo that gets the best gas mileage? I have a pressure gauge on the turbo and she reads between 500-650psi when running full blast. It seems pretty easy to adjust the turbo (theres a simple little knob under the hood, I've just never adjusted a turbo before. Ideas?
