Slight Rattle When Underload?

When accelerating, there is a very quiet but noticable rattle coming from the engine. It stops as soon as I take my foot off the accelerator. It sounds the same as (but much quieter) when my MG ZR had a bad idler. Car's done 150k miles.

I think I know what it is, and apparently it's not a nice job. but I wanted to hear a second opinion first.

I would check the exhaust heat shields first, something as cheap as a larger washer could sort it.

Just got my 2003 vvti back from a service and mot,

Now I have the same rattle!!

Can you give me any info.
