The indicator lamp comes as one unit and is a separate item to the mirror housing and the mirror cover (the body coloured piece). Send Parts King a personal message detailing your car and what you want, and he will provide a price for you.

Don't forget to state which side the damaged mirror is on - passenger or driver side.

Thats about 17£ driver side on the dealer. That was last years price.

  • 4 months later...

Hello, I had my wing mirror indicator taken out by a 4x4 BMW last night. If I get the replacement part, (I'm assuming 81731-02120 for a Toyota Excel Hybrid), then is it easy to fix? Or do I have to take the whole mirror to bits? If so how?

Caught my indicator in the garage door frame.

The wing mirror cover just prises off (a little squeeze helps).

The lens attachment just clips in.

I had to reassemble my one from the bits on the floor.

The garage did the proper repair which took 10 mins so it isn't too difficult.

Is there a knack??? I've tried but feared breaking clips etc...

If memory serves I gave it a squeeze and applied a bit of force.

Sorry I can't be more help,it was a while ago.

Its held on with clips that are moulded on to the cover.

Why not take it into the dealer?

If you cross one of the techs hands with silver I am sure they will sort it for you, they changed my one free of charge (I paid for the lens) after I grovelled to the service manager.

Got it sorted now ta. It came off quite easily around the top, but the bottom was a little more tricky with the moulded clips being harder to get to.
