Heater Will Not Blow Out Warm Air

Hi I have not long had my Corollary Verso and the other day my partner turned the heater down as it got a bit to hot then the next time we got in the car she turned it back up but it was only blowing out cold air. Can someone tell me what this might be.

Also when driving 55+mph the high temp coolant light is coming on but then flashes and goes off soon as I reduce speed

Have you checked your coolant level?

Sounds like maybe a stuck heater control valve. Check that when you move the temperature control in the cabin, the valve opens and closes.

Yeah Brad the valve was stuck. I took it to the garage and they replaced it but there was still no heat coming out. Turns out it needed filling up with water as well.

Ah, yep, that could falsely indicate that the cooling system was full even though the heater core was empty.
