03 Tsport Headlights Stopped Working

Hi guys,

When I started the car to go home today I noticed that the main headlights on my tsport have stopped working, the dimmed lights and Full beam work ok along with the fog lights but the "normal" lights seem to have stopped working totally.

Can you advise on things to check? I'm thinking perhaps a fuse as it seems strange that they have both stopped working at the same time? Not sure on fuse areas/ codes to check?

If its something simple I would rather check myself than get a garage to charge me 60 quid to diagnose.

Is it possible maybe that its Battery related? I had an issue with her starting a few days ago which was new, just took around 6 seconds to turnover before it started

Any input welcome,

Presume your 'low beam' headlights have stopped working.

No they are working along with interior dash and all other lights, including cd player/radio etc :/

So which lights do you mean by 'normal'?

Sorry my explanation isn't the best . my main headlights are not working

My flashers(full beam ) are fine , low daytime lights (first selection are fine ) but the main headlights just don't seem to be on at all

Turn on the headlight switch and then meter the connectors for the main lights for DC voltage. Should be 12V. If you don't have 12V, there's an issue in the electrical system (switch, fuse, wiring, etc...) but if you have voltage there, you just need new globes.

Many thanks for your reply Brad.

I will have a look tonight after work, any idea on where I can find the tsport fuse manual ?

If it's any help I had both dipped beam bulbs blow at the same time in a Renault I once owned.

Thanks guys , I've found the main headlight fuse , will change it around with another fuse tonight and test.

Its a good point that someone else picked out, I may not have noticed the first bulb go, but obviously definately notice when the second has gone :/
