A2Dp For You Ipod Connection

My Auris has the iPod connection in the upper glove box and as a few of us know it's not possible to convert it to anything other than iPod ... So you have to come up with the funds for an aftermarket bluetooth kit to fit your car so you can use your own phone for things well I sort of stumbled across something that might solve the issue whist at work one day my mate bought in his iPod speaker so we could have something to listen to in the workshop any way he bust his iPod and got his hands on this little device that connects to the iPod dock turning the whole thing into just a bluetooth speaker and it worked with both my HTC and his Samsung so will clearly playback thru this piece of kit ... So I have ordered one on the idea it might just work on the Auris stereo and the thing only costs £11 but I spoke to the owner of the shop and he cut me a deal on one as a trial for £7 and if it works I can keep it he makes no loss so he saw it as why not ... Anyway going off the fact it worked on the dock it should work in the car ... Has anyone tried one of these in their car before and its not worked

On my Auris anything works in the USB port? I charge my phone from it, play songs from phone and even load my USB with songs an put it into the port?

The pre-facelift Auris didn't have the USB or Aux ports in the glovebox - the iPod connection was an optional accessory.
