Toyota Avensis D4D Black Smoke!

Hope someone point me in the right direction.

My Avensis has been smoking for a while now. 2 codes used to come up, the first was P0093 'large fuel leak detected' and the second was injector. Had the injectors tested by a diesel injection specialist and he said all four injectors were fine. Had a new EGR still the black smoke. Had mechanic look for visible fuel leaks but nothing. Had all sensors cleaned but still no look. Now I've ordered a wiring loom and an intercooler. My mechanic said it cut be that there's a break in the wiring as it has electrical tape at some parts. Also he cleaned my intercooler recently which solved the problem for 2 days and now it's back. Does anyone have an idea of what it could be?

Black smoke usually means the engine isn't getting enough air, and is sometimes a sign of a problem with the turbo, esp. if it only smokes at higher RPMs, Could just be a loose hose but could also be something more serious...
