I know that feeling! The other benefit is you knowing that the part they're fitting meets your approval. If a garage ever changes my oil I always provide the oil, just so I know what's going in there.

Finally got the clutch replaced last week after the wife broke down the week before.

Sadly,the vsc, engine warning lights keep coming on after clearing them. The mechanic checked the 02 sensors, they are connected and seem fine. 

Not sure what to do except take it elsewhere to get the issue diagnosed, urgh more money that we don't have.
