I'm in need of a left hand wing mirror glass and backplate. The genuine
part is extremely expensive ranging from £50 up to £80

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Genuine-Toyota-Corolla-Verso-Verso-Wing-Mirror-Sub-Assembly-REAR-RH-879080F020-/321292399869?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&fits=Car+Make%3AToyota|Model%3ACorolla+Verso&hash=item4ace84f4fd

Could someone please point me in the right direction?

Thanks

Lol i've come on here to ask the same question but it's the drivers side I need....
Does this look ok? Because whoever hit my care tidied up the glass and ran off with the mess and i've no idea if it's just the glass and backplate i'm missing!!? Have you managed to source a replacement yet?

It looks to me that, rather than hit the door mirror and clean up the mess, someone has actually pinched the glass and back plate - hence no mess !

Makes sense I suppose. I was parked outside a scumbags house that day and they probably didn't like that I was in 'their' space....

Unfortunately you need a complete new mirror as the adjuster motors, gears and mirror mounting have been removed. There is noting in there for the mirror to fit to now.

Question related to that thread... does someone have a picture of the replacement glass from the back of the wing mirror without the glass but with the mirror plate on? I got to my car today just to find half of the wing mirror dangling on a cable... Luckily, it just popped out and I believe it can be put back in, but I need to replace the glass and don't really want to damage anything inside there...
