Front Wheel Bearing Help

So it's definitely my front left wherl bearing that is on its way out so looking to change it but I am only able to fine a full hub assembly at 124 quid. Is there a bearing that I can just change or do I need to change the hub? Any ideas on where to look would be great.

It's a 2006 2.2 D4D if that helps

its easier to change the whole hub but costs more- as the bearing needs to pressed in if your buying the bearing alone.

have you tried www.eurocarparts.com

hi dan,

there are bearing and hub assembly's on eBay for less than £50, just type in "rav4 hub" and have a look through.

Thanks guys, I will get a bearing hub assembly. Thanks for the eBay tip I will look now. Am I better off changing bearing or the whole hub?

just bolt in the new hub/bearing assy and reattach your brake disk and calliper, as avensisd4d786 mentioned to replace a new bearing in your existing hub would require the old bearing to be knocked or pressed out and the new bearing to be pressed in with a hydraulic press. not worth the hassle and risk of damaging the new bearing for the cost of a hub/bearing assy.

Has anyone bought one of the eBay ones? Just wondered if there are any to avoid? I was looking at the one from Continental and although it is a tenner more than other ones it matches the blueprint part number as my brother checked.
