Hi just checked the weather for tomorrow and its perfect for polishing and waxing my Celica, but can anyone recommend good waxing products? Also how do I find out if my paintwork is metallic? Cheers.

Depends how "anal" you want to be.?...you can't go wrong with AutoGlym products...super resin polish is VERY good.

Everyone has their own favourites and preferences..and many use a clay bar prior to waxing.

If you want a more simple "quick fix" and your paintwork is good then I'd suggest something like the Sonax detailer...you can get it from eBay for around £12/13...I use it and it's fabulous stuff....it's a wipe on/wipe off liquid...but it buffs up really well and holds it's shine well.

Your call, mate...depends just how far you wanna go.!

Your car is black.?...you'd see the metallic fleck if there was one. (ie storm blue...black with blue fleck)

Black is a solid on the Gen 7

As Neil says, Autoglym SRP is very highly regarded

I would question whether it is warm enough to wax at the moment, best left until March/April, but moisturising those Terracotta seats would do the leather a power of good.
