Hi folks thinking of hardwiring a dash cam to my Toyota avensis t25 2007 model . I was thinking of going with a dash cam kit and a piggy back fuse just wondering if anyone else has done this and if so what fuse to piggy back ?

And would it be okay to hide the cable down the front pillar which has an air bag in it? Cheers meloned

i'm thinking of doing the same now but to power a usb hub.

how did you go with this?? did you manage to do it?

I just took power from the cigarette lighter and fitted the dash cam on the rain sensor. Its nice and stealthy. I use "Mobius" actioncam as my Dashcam.
