I am looking for at a 2.0 Diesel T3-s but it has 190k on the clock, it does have a full service history.

Just wondering if the high miles are of concern? I am coming from a volvo with 220k so I know some cars are great even at high miles. My old MR2 had done 160k and never missed a beat,

Any advice appreciated

Thanks

Have a look at the post called how many miles can you get out of your avensis.

Some high milers in there.

What age is car as personally id be looking for the 1cd engine between 2002-2006 (i think)

Also is it ex taxi or sales rep car that you would expect high mileage

depends what kind of work has been done to it. what year is it as 2003-2006 has the 1cd-ftv engine and 2006-2008 facelift has the 1ad-ftv engine

Thats changeover year from mk1 to mk2

Full service history is a good start to know its had regular oil changes.

Check timing belt and water pump history and test drive making sure clutch gbox dmf feel ok.

Mines is same year but only at 94k miles so can only comment on mine

I replaced radiator last year

Nothing else apart from service items.

Id also like to know expected life of these turbos

As that could be something to worry about at that mileage.

? Maybey they last forever? Never heard of anyone changing them on these cars?
