New gearbox with differential problem
I was wondering if anyone can advice me. I recently had the gearbox and radiator replaced on my 4x4 (the latter had leaked into the former) Now i am being told that the front differential needs replacing. I understand that the differential is part of the gearbox so should this be an issue when i have had a new gearbox fitted. Would the differential be covered by the warranty on the new gearbox? Please can someone explain the mechanics and other implications? I am wondering if the garage is running rings around me.

was it a new gearbox or a reconditioned one? what does your receipt say?
