Hi all, I was wondering if anyone could help me....

I have purchased a 61 plate (registered 2012) D4D Toyota Auris 1.4.

Now every so often when I put the ignition key in and turn it so the lights on the dash come on I get a single beep..

I have looked in the manual for the car but cannot find anything to do with this..

Has anyone got any ideas??

Thanks for any info that you may have...

The model with keyless entry beeps if the keyfob Battery is getting low, although I think it's when you switch off the engine rather than when you start it. How old is the Battery?

Sorry should have mentioned that its not the keyless entry one....

The beep only happens occasionally when you turn the ignition on... Been out a couple of times tonight and it hasnt beeped once... earlier on in the day it did it several times...

It could maybe still be the Battery, does it have a light which flashes when you press it, and if so, is it bright?
