Changing Brake Pads

Hi,

I'm looking to change my break pads on my Avensis 2004 T3X Hatch. I've watch videos and am fairly confident i can do it myself.

One question after removing the break reservoir cap and forcing back the pistons in the calipers,is there anything else i need to do. It has been mentioned that forcing back these pistons might cause problems with the antilock breaking system and sensors.

There shouldn't be a problem. The braking system is designed for fluid to flow 'backwards' with the pedal released. I've never had any issues or seen anything which would suggest damage to the ABS components.

Dont lose the metal slider inserts for the pads on the calliper housing.

Im missing one and my brake pad rattles about like a skeleton having a w4nk on a tin roof
