Auris Hybrid Ts - Delivery Times?

Hi all,

I put an order in last week for the above car (icon+ spec) and am looking forward to getting behind the wheel of my first hybrid :)

I was advised at the time by the dealer that expected delivery was approx 7-10 days however I checked for an update today only to be told that there were delays on all their cars and mine wasn't expected now until 21st April. I guess I was being a touch optimistic in expecting such a speedy turnaround but can anyone give me any ideas on delivery timings/delays from past personal experience. With it being a UK sourced car I was not anticipating any hiccups!

Have you ordered any factory fit options on top of the Icon Plus spec?

Toyota Motor Manufacturing UK at Burnaston produces the Auris for the whole of Europe, and Toyota GB probably don't have any priority over other European countries. Production of the current Auris will probably be winding down soon, with production of the face-lifted Auris commencing May/June in preparation for sales later in the Summer - not sure whether this may be having an effect.
