T180 Avensis Losing Water

I have bought a t180 avensis 2008 2.2 and it's losing water and overheating

I hope it's not head gasket

Can some1 help

Have you worked out where/how it is losing coolant?

Pay special attention to the AD Head gaskets .pdf (although that is known to have been superceded) under the EGR section. If your car is under 7 years old, has under 112k miles & has been maintained to Toyota's schedule & standards at Toyota's discretion there may be a goodwill warranty extension for the issue for your car.

Also, check the water pump for leaking as that isn't unknown.
