Changing Yaris 2010 Oil Filter

I would like to do an oil change on my Yaris 1.3 2010 but have discovered that the filter is the paper cartridge type instead of the usual screw on one. The new paper filter comes with what appears to be 2 rubber sealing rings and an odd looking plastic piece which I assume is for draining the oil somehow. I already have the special fluted tool to remove the filter body but would be grateful for any advice on the correct way to remove and replace the filter and the different parts, Thanks

You have to undo the small cap on the filter body & then push the plastic pipe thingy in the hole to drain the oil from the filter housing, then undo the filter body using the special tool and inside you will find the oil filter, clean inside the housing and change the large o ring on the body making sure it's not twisted and insert new filter, screw the housing back in & tighten to the torque stamped on top of housing (25 nm) I think & then change small o ring on top cap & replace. Fill with oil & check for any leaks.

Hope this helps.

No prob, I think on my next oil change I'm not going to bother removing the small cover & using the pipe thingy as it still seems to be quite a messy, I'm going to try to just remove the housing.
